A personal story about NOT saving things for ‘best’

January 24, 2024 by SarahHughes

Today, Iโ€™m sharing a personal story about NOT ๐˜€๐—ฎ๐˜ƒ๐—ถ๐—ป๐—ด ๐˜๐—ต๐—ถ๐—ป๐—ด๐˜€ ๐—ณ๐—ผ๐—ฟ โ€˜๐—ฏ๐—ฒ๐˜€๐˜โ€™, inspired by the sequinned โœจ jacket Iโ€™m wearing to workโ€ฆ

You see, Iโ€™ve noticed people often saving treasured, much-loved things for โ€˜bestโ€™, whether a stunning outfit that comes out once a year, an outrageously expensive pen, or even a sexy sportscar.

In my mum and dadโ€™s day, it was the best china.

My ethos is that life is short; if you love something, give it air time!

And hereโ€™s how this connects to our marketing strategies:

When crafting a lead magnet, initiating a sales call, or penning a proposal, always lead with your most compelling feature or benefit right from the get-go.

Fire your big guns first!

We never get a second chance to make a first impression, so make the first one count.

Iโ€™m curious: are you a โ€˜save for bestโ€™ or โ€˜go all outโ€™ kind of person?

On a side note, Iโ€™m currently sporting my dazzling ๐Ÿคฉ sequinned jacket in the office today and Iโ€™m absolutely loving it!
